Sunset ibiza

My 7 day Ibiza itinerary to having the best time!

I have just got back from 7 days in Ibiza. As pleased as I am to be back in my own bed, I had the greatest time, making loads of memories.

With so much going on in one of the world’s most famous party islands, it’s hard to know where to start or what’s best to do each day. But because I really had such a wonderful week, I’m going to give you my recommendations for each day.

My 7 day ibiza itinerary

SUNDAY

Zoo Project, Benimussa Park

Zoo project ibiza

Zoo Project has been a famous event in Ibiza for over a decade, recently moving to every Sunday. This year was my first time here, and it is just fantastic! With mini-festival vibes, there are numerous areas to chill out or dance away in.

Time: It starts at 5pm and finishes at 2am. I’d say get there around 7pm as this is when it starts getting lively.

Prices: Tickets only cost €25. Drink prices are good for Ibiza too, with the average being around €10 per drink.

Dress code? It’s animal theme of course! There is a stall onsite that provide body painting (although this is quite pricey) but the bolder you dress the better! Also wear or bring along your swimming cozzies as they have a pool.

MONDAY

Aguarmar Waterpark

For me personally, Mondays in Ibiza are the days with the least amount on. So this year I spent the day at the Aguamar Waterpark in Playa d’en Bossa. Get your inner child out by racing on the slides or gushing down the flumes.

Time: It’s open from 10am until 6pm (5.30pm in lower season).

Price: For only €18 I thought this was a steal. Although be warned, there is no lazy river here ☹

Ibiza Town

Ibiza Town is a grand, cosmopolitan and ancient city on the southeast coast of the island. Spend an evening here with an exquisite dinner – I recommend Zela in Marina Botafoch for Mediterranean food prepared with Japanese cooking techniques. Or enjoy tapas at El Faro, at the end of the harbor prom.

Follow your meal up with their mix of bars to choose from. The Rock Bar is possibly the most famous on the harbor prom, with a buzzing vibe. Stroll down the street of Virgin, where you can expect glitter, feathers and sequins galore!

TUESDAY

Nikki Beach

Nikki Beach ibiza

Nikki Beach is a well-known global luxury brand, located in places including Dubai, Barbados, Miami and Marbella. It’s also got a home in Ibiza, overlooking the beautiful Balearic sea. This is ideal for those who want a bit of luxury.

But why go on a Tuesday? It’s ladies day (sorry gents)! For just €49 in May, June and September (€59 July and August) you’ll get entry and a complimentary day bed, unlimited tropical mojitos and bubbles from 11am until 4pm. They also provide you with some delightful nibbles.

Considering the prices of Nikki Beach, this is a bargain if you want to experience this top-class beach club.

WEDNESDAY

Paradise at DC10

Paradise DC10 ibiza

For those who want to get their techno-rave on, DC10 host Paradise every Wednesday during the summer. Past DJs include Jamie Jones, Patrick Topping and Jackmaster. It’s known for its underground deep sounds and tropical vibes.

Prices: Tickets are €50. Expect to pay around €15 for a vodka and mixer.

THURSDAY

Ocean Beach, San Antonio

Ocean Beach ibiza

One of the most famous landmarks in Ibiza, Ocean Beach is the ultimate pool party experience. If you’re craving some RnB, garage and hip-hop over the overly-played house and techno everywhere else, visit Ocean Beach on a Thursday.

Time: In high season it’s open from midday until 10pm.

Price: For entry, it only costs €15 in advance or €20 on the door. Drinks aren’t badly priced either, costing just €10-€12 for a good quality cocktail. But I’d definitely recommend paying more to reserve a bed or a table if you’re in a big group.

Café Mambo

Sunset ibiza cafe mambo

While you’re just walking distance away, you’ve got to check out Café Mambo. Famously known as the best spot in Ibiza for the sunset, you won’t be disappointed. Solomun and Bob Sinclair are among the list of famous DJs who have performed here, and the atmosphere is just exceptional.

Drinks prices here are pretty high at around €15 for a cocktail. But here’s a top tip: anyone is welcome to bring their own drinks onto the beach, so pop into a nearby shop and stock yourself up!

FRIDAY

Glitterbox, Hi Ibiza

Glitterbox ibiza

Another club night, Hi Ibiza is home to Glitterbox’s 21st century disco, bringing flamboyant performers and house gems. The week I went I got to see Basement Jaxx, who are so wonderfully wacky!

Hi Ibiza is a nice venue too with lots of different podiums and stages to stand on. It’s based in Playa d’en Bossa, so have a mooch around the bars before heading here.

Prices: Tickets are €50 (or €40 if you arrive before 1am). I’ll warn you that drinks are expensive, at around €18 per drink… That’s why I recommend bars beforehand!

SATURDAY

Elrow, Amnesia

Elrow ibiza

You simply can’t not go to Elrow on a Saturday night in Ibiza. Elrow hosts the most colorful and craziest events all over the world, and plays host in the famous Amnesia club every Saturday. Each week has a theme, with breathtakingly fantastic productions, outlandish props, crazy costumes, confetti, inflatables and more.

Past themes include Bollywood and Retro ‘80s; when I visited they had the mysterious underwater world. Expect a soundtrack of funky electric, house and techno.

Price: Tickets cost around €55. Once again drinks are seriously pricey, costing a whopping €18 for a vodka and mixer! So make sure you get enough drinks in beforehand.

So that is how I spent my week in Ibiza! There are so many more things to do and events to experience of course, so if you have recommendations share them with us.

Have you got a trip to Ibiza coming up? Why not take our RockHoppa roll-up travel bag?

Ibiza roll up bag

Sometimes, one suitcase just isn’t enough for a holiday, especially one to Ibiza where you need EVERYTHING.

That’s why I brought along my RockHoppa roll-up bag as hand luggage too. Because it’s the maximum cabin bag size and rolls out into different compartments, you can bring so many more things when you go away – meaning more outfits choices woohoo!

Suitable for both men and women, this bag is perfect for cabin luggage or just as weekend travel. Pack it, roll it up and carry it with the handle or shoulder strap!
